ABOUT US |
| Our dogs are
used to hunt a variety of upland game and waterfowl. In addition, we
regularly use our dogs to recover wounded deer for hunters in our area.
Jim is a life long hunter and currently serves as the Vice President of the North American Deutsch Kurzhaar Club. He is also a Verbandsrichter approved to evaluate dogs in JGHV and DKV Performance Evaluations and is in the midst of his Apprenticship to be a DK Formwertrichter (Conformation Judge). Kim is a horse enthusiast and is in her second year at the Iowa State University Veterinary Medical School. She is slated to graduate in 2007 and desires to work in a mixed animal practice. Shelby is five and attends Kindergarten in Ames. She loves horses and puppies and regularly helps socialize new puppies. Toby is three and attends preschool in Ames. He is a daddy's boy and loves to help train the dogs and go hunting. |
